Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Specialist to join our team at Sammons. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility's electrical systems and equipment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and equipment maintenance, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical issues. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that production schedules are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth operation of the manufacturing facility
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
