Manufacturing Engineer

Vertiv, a global leader in digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join its team in Ireland. This strategic role involves doubling the company's manufacturing capacity by 2025 to meet rising demand for data center power infrastructure. As a key member of the Continuous Improvement team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing routings, process steps, equipment requirements, and time estimates.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize routing efficiency and minimize costs.
- Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement, implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, CAD/CAM software, and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
