Engineering and Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist

Thorlabs is a leading manufacturer of photonics equipment, seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join its team in Londonderry, NH. As a key member of the Measurement Systems division, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing innovative products that push the boundaries of optical engineering.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in CAD design, FEA analysis, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in SolidWorks, PLM software, and quality management systems is essential. Knowledge of Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and factory automation is a plus.
