The successful candidate will be part of a well-developed and innovative multi-disciplinary team, including consultant psychiatrist, nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy. The role involves assessing and managing patients requiring intensive psychiatric care within the multidisciplinary team.
The post-holder will be involved in regular mental health and criminal procedures act work, as well as court reports. They will also have the opportunity to achieve Approved Medical Practitioner status in accordance with the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003.
To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess full GMC registration, a licence to practice, and at least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training, including two years in a specialty training program or specialty registrar locum appointment for training (LAT).
