We are seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our client\u2019s team and contribute to their success in securing new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry, including key sectors such as commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and heritage.

As the sole Bid Writer, you will play a critical role in developing compelling and well-structured bid submissions, working closely with the Commercial and Pre-Construction Teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the bid process from inception to submission, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality bid content, including executive summaries, case studies, technical responses, and project methodologies.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitor strategies.
  • Engage with clients to gather insights and feedback, ensuring that bid submissions address their specific requirements and concerns.
  • Organise and maintain a library of bid documentation, templates, and past submissions.
  • Ensure all bid documents are compliant with client specifications, industry standards, and internal quality guidelines.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry.
  • A minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a Bid Writing position, ideally with a medium-sized main contractor.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency, with Adobe InDesign a plus.
