About the Role

Climax Studios, a renowned game development studio, is seeking an experienced Lead Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of our next-generation AAA console title.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of designers to create high-quality game designs, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including programming, art, and production, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of game features.
  • Develop and maintain clear design documentation, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project goals.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure their growth and success.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring our game meets their expectations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Lead Designer on AAA 3D Action console games.
  • Strong understanding of game design principles, including level, player character, and enemy design.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5 and proficiency in using its features.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
