Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banking and Finance Specialist to join our team at Bank of China. As a Real Estate Banking Associate, you will play a key role in our Corporate Banking business, working closely with clients to provide high-quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Participate in business marketing activities to promote our corporate banking products and services to UK corporate clients.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to provide high-quality products and services to clients.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Organize business marketing activities to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
    • Prepare business proposals, credit analyses, and financial models to support business development.
    • Collaborate with in-house and external lawyers to complete facility documentation and ensure agreements are acceptable and protect the bank's interests.
  • Cross-Selling and Account Management
    • Cross-sell different corporate banking products, including loans, deposits, trade finance, cash management, FX, bond issuance, and RMB business.
    • Carry out general account maintenance duties with clients.
    • Implement post-lending management for the managed credit portfolio.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Conduct and fulfill KYC and KYB compliance requirements, and any other legal and compliance requirements per internal and regulator policies.

Requirements

  • Degree educated in Finance, Accounting, or other equivalent fields.
  • Relevant experience in managing Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) portfolio.
  • Good understanding of general and structured corporate financing activities and general and structured corporate banking products and services.
  • An ability to navigate around and understand a loan agreement and related financial documents.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is desirable.
  • Proven analytical skills, business judgment, and acumen.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Good customer service skills and results-oriented.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills.
