Job Description

Job Title: English Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our team at Nuneaton Academy. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students, promoting a love of learning, and helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students
  • Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and resources
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
