We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our English department at George Eliot Academy. Our academy is a rewarding and professionally stimulating place to work, where pupils feel a real sense of belonging and there is a culture of mutual respect.

They will also be willing and committed to developing and sharing outstanding teaching practice, and able to work in partnership with children, parents, staff, governors and the wider community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher of English
  • Experience of teaching English in a secondary school setting
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils and staff
  • Commitment to developing and sharing outstanding teaching practice
  • Ability to work in partnership with children, parents, staff, governors and the wider community
