We are seeking a forward-thinking student with a passion for technological innovation to join our Assembly Quality Management department.

As an intern, you will gain a deep understanding of our production line and play a pivotal role in maintaining existing and developing new computing solutions that support our mission to 'take the best that exists and make it better'. We are at the forefront of digital innovations at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, and we want you to be a part of it.

  • Seeking digital solutions to enhance the quality of our products.
  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the computer systems in use within assembly.
  • Spearheading digital innovations that propel us towards Industry 4.0, continually seeking opportunities to leverage technology for increased efficiency.
  • Actively solving complex issues related to our production systems.
  • Analysis of data sets to provide transparency to the existing target environment and offer improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting the implementation of the Value Production System and Work Organisation throughout the Assembly process.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements.

  • Studying a Bachelor's or integrated Master's degree and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in a Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant course.
  • Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Systems, and/or Quality Systems.
  • Ability to communicate in English; German is beneficial.
  • You will be required to work independently, taking projects and tasks from concept through to a complete and implemented solution.
  • Strong PC skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Any coding experience, such as SQL or Python, is considered advantageous.
