Registered Learning Disability Nurse

We are seeking a driven and dynamic Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Burton Park, a 50-bedded neurobehavioural locked rehabilitation hospital for patients with acquired brain injury and neuro-progressive conditions.
The successful candidate will contribute to pre-admission assessment of referred patients, comprehensive assessment of patients on admission, compiling a holistic plan of care in partnership with the individual, and prioritising, organising, and deploying resources to meet the requirements of the ward for the duration of a shift.
This role involves working within a transdisciplinary team that includes a range of professionals, such as psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, speech & language therapy, physiotherapy, social workers, and medical professionals. The ideal candidate will have a focus on patient-centred care, be a team player, and have the ability to be self-motivated and flexible.
As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for managing medication as per hospital policy, adhering to the NMC code of professional conduct, and ensuring that you are up to date with relevant hospital policies.
