Job Title: Raw Material Operator

Reporting to the Extrusion Shift Supervisor, you will work closely with the yard and extrusion operators to maintain a continuous supply of raw material to the extruders. This ensures the material bags are never empty, allowing for effective extruder operation.

As a Raw Material Operator, you will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of housekeeping, addressing spills promptly and correctly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a continuous supply of raw material to the extruders.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and address spills promptly.
  • Work closely with the yard and extrusion operators to maintain a smooth supply chain.
Requirements:
  • Good physical fitness and upper body movement for moving and lifting large bags of raw material.
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment and wear correct PPE at all times.
  • Basic IT skills for working with the Business System NAV.
  • Forklift truck license (training provided).
  • Ability to work extra hours, paid at normal overtime rates.

This is a permanent role with a 42-hour workweek, working on rotating continental day and night shifts (4 on 4 off, 06:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00).
