Senior Technical Manager (CTO Designate)

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will lead a cross-functional team of 7 or more in R&D, Quality, and Project Management. This role will have the potential to take over as Chief Technology Officer in the near future.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop company products and provide technical support to sales and customers.
  2. Provide direction and support to the technical and quality teams for the development of resources to meet the current and future business strategy and activity needs.
  3. Accompany sales team to customer sites and provide guidance and leadership to resolve technical challenges for customers.
  4. Maintain compliance of company accreditations, policies, and other certification requirements.
  5. Liaise with all operations to ensure quality standards are being met.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Working experience within a chemical environment with particular focus on Polyurethane Elastomers.
  2. Proven experience leading teams, continuous improvement, and change management.
  3. Degree educated in Chemicals, Materials Science, or relevant field.
