Aircraft Technician

At Guidant Global, we are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanical Fitter to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of our aircraft fleet.
Main Responsibilities- Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
- Conduct maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated Shift Supervisor or Certifying Engineer, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Work to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Complete maintenance tasks, including airframe structure, power plant, mechanical, and electrical systems, in accordance with OEM instructions.
- Conduct off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, component, and composite technical work in workshops as required.
- Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
- Must have thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems, with a strong understanding of specialized test equipment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Flight/Airport Operations, Aircraft Line Maintenance, and Aircraft Base Maintenance is essential.
- Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or a related discipline is required, with experience in Base Maintenance and Flight Operations a significant advantage.
- Desirable skills include knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS, CAA Part 145 and Part M regulations, and experience on H135/H145 aircraft.
