Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting children with additional needs, leading groups in activities, collaborating with colleagues on lesson planning, and preparing resources for the classroom. A strong focus on working with children on a range of learning and play activities, indoors and outdoors, is essential for this role.

A competitive salary of £22,500 per annum (£11.25 per hour) is offered to reflect the importance we place on our staff's hard work and dedication. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package supports your well-being and career growth.

Requirements include prior experience working within a UK primary school and relevant qualifications, such as Supporting in Early Years, Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (Minimum Level 2), Education Studies Degree, Psychology Degree, or similar. Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training is also required.

Candidates must also hold the right to work in the UK, hold an Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £45.80 if they don't already have one. Two professional references covering the past 2 years are also mandatory.
