About the Role

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description: As a Transport Procurement Executive, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement of goods and services related to transportation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs, develop and implement procurement strategies, and manage the procurement process from start to finish.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the procurement process from tendering to contract award
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and procurement opportunities
• Develop and maintain accurate records of procurement activities and contracts
• Provide procurement guidance and advice to senior management and stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in procurement, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also have experience working within the MOD, Defence, or Aerospace industry, qualified in contract law, or hold a general law degree, and expertise in methods of contracting and T&C's, knowledge of customer through-life support, pricing, terms, and conditions, and contractual documentation.
