About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at Witherslack Group. As a specialist, you will work closely with our clinicians and educational teams to provide therapeutic living and learning environments for children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and formulate individualized interventions to support the delivery of therapeutic services
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide clinically informed living and learning environments
  • Provide consultation, workshops, and training to educational and residential teams
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC. You should have proven skills and experience in assessing, formulating, and supporting the delivery of therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.

You will also need to be a confident, engaging, and effective model, guide, leader, and trainer. A high level of organization and the ability to take the initiative are essential. We are committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a great opportunity to change young lives and make a positive impact on their future.
