About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team as a Mobile Commercial Plumber. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance and repair works in plant rooms, commercial premises, and other locations in the Reading and Berkshire area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance and repair works on hot and cold water systems, including fixing leaks, replacing taps, valves, and pumps.
- Perform installation works, including fitting new plumbing systems and equipment.
- Work on a variety of plumbing systems, including TMV's, toilets, and radiator valves.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure all works are completed to a high standard and on time.
Requirements:
- Level 2/3 in Plumbing qualification.
- Valid enhanced DBS check.
- Less than 6 points on your driver's licence.
What We Offer:
- Competitive basic salary of £36-43k per annum, depending on experience.
- Travel time paid after 30 minutes.
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a half-hour lunch break.
- Overtime available.
- Call-out mandatory on a 1 in 6/7 basis, with a £200 per week retainer and paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
- SSP and holiday days.
- Van, fuel card, uniform, tablet, phone, and training provided.
- Private use of van allowed.
- Company Pension Scheme in place.
- 6-month probation period.
- Pay weekly or monthly to suit.
