Our client, a well-established mechanical engineering company, is seeking a skilled plumber to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a level 2/3 qualification in plumbing and experience in plant room mechanical maintenance, leak fixing, and installation works.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out plumbing works around Reading and Berkshire
Maintain and repair hot and cold water systems
Install and replace taps, valves, and pumps
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs in plant rooms
Benefits:
Competitive salary of £36-43k depending on experience
Travel time paid after 30 minutes
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with a half-hour lunch break
Overtime available
Call-out mandatory on a 1 in 6/7 basis with a £200 per week retainer and paid at 1.5 times the door-to-door rate
SSP, holiday pay, and a company pension scheme
Van, fuel card, uniform, tablet, phone, and training provided
Private use of van allowed
Enhanced DBS check and a clean driving license required
