We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Lead to join our Children and Families team at Stockton Council. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality services to children and families in need of support.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver effective care planning and support to children and families.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for children and families, including those with disabilities and those at risk of harm.
- Work closely with other agencies and partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and families.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality services.
- Proven experience of working in a senior management role in a children's services setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, partners, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures, including the ability to assess and manage risk.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
