Science Technician Role
We are seeking a dedicated Science Technician to support students and teachers in delivering engaging and safe science lessons at Academics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and setting up equipment for science experiments and practical lessons
- Maintaining and organising science laboratories, ensuring a safe and clean environment
- Assisting teachers with demonstrations and classroom support during practical activities
- Monitoring and managing stock levels of science equipment and chemicals
- Adhering to health and safety regulations to ensure student and staff safety
About the Role:
- Experience as a Science Technician or in a similar role is desirable
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a science laboratory
- A passion for science and a desire to support students' learning
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer:
- Competitive daily rate: £85 - £130 per day
- Part-time position with flexible hours
