**The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their clients team based in the Ikleston area.

Key Highlights:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
  • Salary: £35,000 per annum (plus overtime)
  • Permanent contract

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer/Fitter who can troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and service our clients' full line of equipment, including directional drills and trenchers. The ideal candidate will have experience with engineering, industrial machinery, engines, fitting and welding, as well as strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, service and repair equipment
  • Diagnose technical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and parts used
  • FOLLOW safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience covering a mixture of Workshop and Site work
  • Proven experience as a Service Engineer/Fitter or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed
