About the Role:
Finnings (UK) Ltd seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Service Technician in Leicester. The successful candidate will contribute to industry-leading field service department operations, focusing on on-site diagnostics and repairs for Caterpillar products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate estimates of arrival times at customer sites based on job instructions from the branch.
- Identify required parts, requisition them, and determine expected delivery times for service re-visits.
- Perform repair and service work on machines according to agreed work plans.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship-building.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.
- Effective problem-solving skills with strong analytical abilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
This opportunity offers a competitive salary range of £38,500 - £43,800, a generous holiday allowance, company pension scheme, healthcare benefits, and participation in a company share scheme.
