About the Role
Morrison Energy Services Careers is seeking a skilled High Voltage Cable Jointer to join our team working on the UK Power Networks contract in Hertfordshire.
As a High Voltage Cable Jointer, you will be part of our substation build team delivering Capital Programme works on UKPN's 11kV, 33kV & 132kV Distribution Network. Your role will involve the jointing and terminating of 11kV and 33kV cables onto High Voltage equipment.
Morrison Energy Services is proud to be a key partner in the UKPN Alliance, delivering substation build and refurbishment works across the East of England, including design, project management, cable installation, building construction, jointing, switchgear, bunding, commissioning, decommissioning, and demolition.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize and interpret manuals, asset standards, and other technical information to assist with installations and remedial works.
- Work in accordance with the company and client safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
- Develop the ability to adapt and respond to unforeseen events and act accordingly.
- Plan and coordinate effectively without supervision.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
- Mentor and coach less experienced staff and apprentices in developing their knowledge and skills.
