About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Educational Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Essex County Council. As a key member of our quadrant-led teams, you will be responsible for applying psychology to improve lives and create positive change in our rapidly growing and diverse school communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Applying psychological principles to support the well-being and development of children and young people.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners and professional colleagues to deliver innovative approaches to meeting the needs of schools and settings.
  • Providing consultation, training, and inclusion services to promote social justice and build strong relationships with schools and communities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility for Graduate membership with the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS).
  • A Doctorate or Masters degree in Professional Educational Psychology.
  • Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist or eligibility for registration.
  • Commitment to applying psychology to make a difference in the lives of children and young people in Essex.
