Job Title: Defence Transformation Expert

Job Summary:

Anson McCade is seeking a highly skilled Defence Transformation Expert to join our team as a Senior Manager. As a key member of our Defence Space team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of complex technology and transformation programmes for the Ministry of Defence and its partnering Space Agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Director of Defence Air & Space to develop and implement transformation programmes
  • Support the development of business development initiatives to drive growth and expansion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver operating models, service design, and digital transformation for the UK Public Sector
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the UK Space Domain, including UK Space Command, DE&S, and UK Strategic Command
  • Provide expert advice on Defence & Security sector challenges and innovative government strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with current business environment drivers, including digital, automation, robotics, and advanced analytics
  • Lead project management efforts, including detailed project planning and adherence to strict timelines
  • Design and implement operating models to create optimal business architecture for digital strategy implementation
  • Develop user-centric solutions to deliver maximum value and best experiences through service design

Requirements:

  • British Passport Holder with active MoD DV Clearance
  • Established network within the UK Space Domain
  • Experience in a senior client-facing role at a Blue Chip Consulting firm
  • Expertise in the UK Space Domain with knowledge of Government/MoD Space projects
  • Proficiency in designing and delivering operating models, service design, and digital transformation for the UK Public Sector using waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Understanding of Defence & Security sector challenges and innovative government strategies
  • Awareness of current business environment drivers: digital, automation, robotics, advanced analytics
  • Strong project management skills, including detailed project planning and adherence to strict timelines
  • Expertise in Operating Model Design to create optimal business architecture for digital strategy implementation
  • Proficiency in Service Design, focusing on user-centric solutions to deliver maximum value and best experiences.

  • Base Salary: £95,000 - £115,000 (DoE)
  • Bonus - 10%
