Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a highly qualified Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Manager to join our Compliance team. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring adherence to global regulations and standards while implementing and overseeing the company's risk management strategies. You will be instrumental in safeguarding our organization by holding senior stakeholders accountable for regulatory compliance and risk mitigation across Commify and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute effective governance frameworks to ensure visibility and escalation of risks and compliance issues.
  • Assist stakeholders in navigating regulatory requirements to achieve optimal compliance outcomes.
  • Oversee risk identification, assessment, and management processes, aiding senior stakeholders in understanding their risk landscape and mitigation strategies.
  • Manage the global Risk Register, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of regulations and certifications to clarify our obligations in each operational territory.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to address incidents affecting regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate attestations and regulatory audits across our global operations.
  • Implement training programs to enhance colleagues' understanding of regulatory obligations and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct horizon scanning to proactively identify potential changes in the regulatory environment.
  • Stay informed about the latest compliance standards and best practices.

Candidate Profile:

  • Significant experience in governance, risk, and compliance roles, ideally within the telecommunications sector.
  • Proven ability to operate a risk management framework across diverse entities and regions, including risk appetite and impact/likelihood assessment.
  • Familiarity with regulations and standards such as GDPR, PECR, HIPAA, PCI, SOC2, NIST, DORA, and ISO27001, including implementation and monitoring strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of summarizing and presenting complex concepts to senior leadership.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across various locations and time zones as needed.
