About the Role
As a Customer Delivery Driver at Tesco, you will be the face of our company on the road, delivering exceptional customer service to our valued customers. Your role will involve meeting and interacting with customers in their homes, providing a warm and welcoming experience that exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver customer shopping trips with a smile, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
  2. Build relationships with colleagues to create a positive and supportive team environment.
  3. Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs, adapting to new situations with ease.
  4. Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  5. Ensure the van and trays are clean and organized, maintaining a high level of presentation.
  6. Load the van as required, checking for roadworthiness and ensuring a safe delivery experience.
  7. Communicate effectively with customers, explaining any changes to their order and offering refunds when necessary.
  8. Take care of products and deliveries as if they were your own, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility.
  9. Deliver during the customer's time slot, calling ahead to inform them of your arrival.
  10. Call the store or centre if running late, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery process.

Requirements
  1. A UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
  2. Able to adhere to the GB Domestic Driving Rules.
  3. Warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues, taking time to understand their needs.
  4. Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills.
  5. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations, with a positive and can-do attitude.
  6. Ability to work as part of a team, building strong relationships with colleagues.
