Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Delivery Driver to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Valid UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
  • Physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods

  • Competitive monthly salary equivalent to an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr
  • Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata)
