Children's Community Physiotherapy Team Lead Opportunity

We work collaboratively with various partner organizations to provide care and support to individuals in their homes and from multiple hospitals and community bases, focusing on delivering care as close to home as possible for people of all ages across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath, and North East Somerset.

This exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and forward-thinking physiotherapists to join the Children's Community Physiotherapy Service as a team lead.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing a locality physiotherapy team consisting of band 5 and 6 qualified staff and band 3 and 4 assistants, leading a clinical area, and supporting the professional lead with service development. The children's community physiotherapy service provides therapy input and support to children with long-term conditions in Oxfordshire.

You will provide advanced assessment and treatment of patients in homes, schools, and clinic settings, offering a comprehensive community physiotherapy service for patients with complex health needs, grounded in evidence-based practice and recognized national standards.

Requirements
  • Extensive post-graduate experience, including paediatrics
  • Community paediatric experience, including schools
  • Experience managing other staff

Appointment to this post is subject to the Trust receiving satisfactory references covering 3 years of employment or study. Employees are expected to undertake mandatory and statutory training related to their role.
