This exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and forward-thinking physiotherapists to join the Children's Community Physiotherapy Service as a team lead.
Main ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for managing a locality physiotherapy team consisting of band 5 and 6 qualified staff and band 3 and 4 assistants, leading a clinical area, and supporting the professional lead with service development. The children's community physiotherapy service provides therapy input and support to children with long-term conditions in Oxfordshire.
You will provide advanced assessment and treatment of patients in homes, schools, and clinic settings, offering a comprehensive community physiotherapy service for patients with complex health needs, grounded in evidence-based practice and recognized national standards.
Requirements- Extensive post-graduate experience, including paediatrics
- Community paediatric experience, including schools
- Experience managing other staff
Appointment to this post is subject to the Trust receiving satisfactory references covering 3 years of employment or study. Employees are expected to undertake mandatory and statutory training related to their role.
