About the Company

Our client is a well-established fire and security company seeking an experienced Service Manager to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing service contracts valued at up to £2 million and leading a team of engineers.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have proven supervisory or leadership experience within the sprinkler industry and a strong technical understanding of sprinkler systems and associated services. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing service contracts, leading and supporting a team of service engineers, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee service contracts, ensuring delivery aligns with client expectations and company standards.
  • Lead, supervise, and support a team of service engineers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Liaise effectively with the service coordinator to optimize scheduling, resource allocation, and project timelines.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to minimize service disruptions and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for service-related inquiries and solutions.
  • Monitor service performance, ensuring adherence to budgetary and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Proven supervisory or leadership experience within the sprinkler industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of sprinkler systems and associated services.
  • LPC (Loss Prevention Certification Board) qualification is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and build strong client relationships.
