Job Description

IT Global Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and ongoing support of the platform, as well as acting as the internal focal point for an enterprise platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working within an agile context with the use of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Supporting teams in mapping their stories to available platforms and helping to build and deploy secure services.
  • Assessing applications, software, and hardware using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Developing, coordinating, and administering AWS infrastructure by integrating cloud-native services with third-party products.
  • Enhancing the tech stack and configurations of existing services to improve site performance and reduce issues.
  • Building and managing VPC environments that cover sandbox, dev, test, production, training, and support.
  • Experience with DevOps concepts and deploying CI/CD pipelines using cloud-native and third-party tools.
  • Excellent Shell Scripting and Python skills.
  • Experience with monitoring and metrics platforms (Datadog/Prometheus).
  • Able to assess the security of existing applications and define standards for new projects.
  • The ideal candidate will be an expert who can work independently while being a good team player.
  • Suggesting innovative solutions to business problems and processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences.
  • Capability of working to tight timescales while maintaining quality product development.
  • Building a useful, robust automated test suite to support a CI/CD environment.
  • Writing well-designed, testable, and quality code following clean code principles.
