Job Summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a skilled Clinical Specialist - Hand Therapy to join their team in the Physiotherapy department. This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist assessment and treatment for outpatients, inpatients, pre-admission, and follow-up care as appropriate.
  • Assess and treat all hand and wrist conditions.
  • Engage with the Upper Limb Services Manager for clinical support, organization of peer review, specialist CPD, and national operational processes and marketing.
  • Contribute to the marketing, promotion, and development of the hand therapy service within the hospital, working closely with the local and regional marketing team, consultants, and GP referrers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and best practice frameworks as guided on the Upper Limb Services shared drive.

Requirements

  • Pharmaceutical expertise and input into patient care, supporting the pharmacy department to deliver an excellent medicine management service.
  • Supervise the procurement, preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medicines, and supervise junior staff members in the delivery of the medicine management service.
  • Assume responsibility for clinical service as identified.
