About The Opportunity

Gleeds is seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will have the autonomy to oversee significant construction projects across various sectors, including Defence, Infrastructure, Industrial, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver cost management and reporting services from inception to completion.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates and budgets.
  • Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with project teams to meet financial goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients.
  • Deliver high-quality services and ensure cost management deliverables meet customer requirements.
  • Advise on procurement strategies and contracts.
  • Prepare tender documentation and manage the tender process.

About You
  • Pre- and post-contract experience.
  • Demonstrable cost management experience working at a consultancy.
  • Strong experience of cost estimating and planning.
  • Cohesive knowledge of construction methods.
  • Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Methodical approach to work and excellent problem-solving skills.
