We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Cost Manager to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing costs and risks across various new build housing developments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all cost-related aspects of construction projects from initial calculations to final figures.

- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.

- Identify and mitigate potential cost risks throughout the project lifecycle.

- Collaborate with internal teams to provide expert advice on contractual claims and disputes.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

- Proven experience in construction cost management, preferably within the private and affordable sectors.

- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials, including current industry trends and best practices.

- Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
