**Job Title:** Senior Engineering Technician

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Technician to join our team at Jobs in Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining test rigs, performing Design Verification Testing (DVT), and supporting the development of in-house tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and set up a range of R&D test rigs.
  • Manage and maintain lab equipment and test rigs, including calibration.
  • Identify problems and find solutions.
  • Support the development of in-house tests to suit varying criteria.

Requirements:

  • Relevant engineering qualification to HND level or above.
  • Proven track record in product testing and rig maintenance.
  • Practical workshop experience, including machining, turning, lathe, milling, etc.

  • Estimated salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.
