About the Role

As a Care Assistant at Barchester care home, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive quality care and support. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support and companionship, and helping to create meaningful moments with our residents.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a supportive environment. You may be involved in tasks such as supporting residents with their food and drink, following individual care plans, and spending quality time with each of our residents.

Person Specification

To join us as a Care Assistant, you will need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach, and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, but above all, you will have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents. The estimated salary for this role is £20,000-£25,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
