We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Clinical Lead to join our team at HMP Millsike, a brand new Category B men's prison located in the village of Full Sutton near York.

The prison will have an operational capacity of 1500 people who will spend their sentences learning the skills they need to find work on release as part of the government's drive to cut reoffending. Our team will provide a robust, high-quality clinical service for patients, and we are looking for a leader who can model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication, and competence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams
  • Work closely with partners to maintain a high-quality clinical service for patients
  • Lead a team of nurses to provide the best substance misuse care
