Woodlands Care Home is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Manager to lead our nursing team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of nurses and care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring they are tailored to the individual needs of our residents.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Manage medication and maintain accurate records, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Qualified Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC registration.
- At least 3 years of hands-on clinical experience, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and families.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work autonomously, with a high level of independence and self-motivation.
