Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Destination Education. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in maintaining a stimulating and engaging environment for students
- Work in groups or one-to-one with students requiring extra support
- Provide personal care when needed

Requirements:

- Experience working with students or young adults with special educational needs preferred
- Experience working in a school environment preferred
- Ability to work on a full-time basis
- Passionate about working with young people with SEN and other learning difficulties
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Reliability and professionalism
- Ability to provide an up-to-date DBS or apply for one
