Homeless Outreach Worker

The Homeless Outreach Worker at Novax Recruitment Ltd will play a pivotal role in providing support and guidance to individuals accessing Mulberry Junction, the Council's resource centre for single people in Haringey affected by or at risk of homelessness.

Located in Haringey, this Full-time contract position offers a competitive rate of £18 per hour (Umbrella P/H). As a key member of the team, your primary objective will be to empower individuals to achieve their personal goals by providing housing, health, and wellbeing support at Mulberry Junction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing information and guidance to clients
• Connecting clients with services and opportunities
• Ensuring the service is a key resource in tackling homelessness

To succeed in this role, you will require:

• A personal understanding of the issues affecting single homeless people or those at risk of homelessness
• An ability to work responsively to support individuals in planning and realising their aspirations
• A commitment to working proactively and respectfully to reduce distress and conflict
