Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Assistant Manager to join our team. As a member of our bar team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the bar and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in food preparation as needed, supporting the kitchen team with food production and presentation.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control, ensuring that all supplies are adequately replenished.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or bar environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary principles is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
  • A genuine passion for food preparation and an eagerness to learn about food production techniques.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
