Financial Controller Opportunity

Cavendish Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team in NW London. This is a permanent position that will involve working closely with the Accountant to ensure the smooth operation of the company's financial functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts, and enter data into accounting software or databases, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare financial statements, including income and expenditure, and ensure timely submission of VAT returns.
  • Manage vendor invoices, track bank account balances, and verify the accuracy of business accounts.
  • Develop and maintain monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
  • Prepare employee wages and assist with administrative duties, including the preparation of yearly accounts.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Bookkeeper is essential.
  • A degree or qualification in Finance is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Previous experience within the Construction industry is advantageous.
  • Strong IT and communication skills are required.
