Cavendish Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team in NW London. This is a permanent position that will involve working closely with the Accountant to ensure the smooth operation of the company's financial functions.
Key Responsibilities- Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts, and enter data into accounting software or databases, while maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare financial statements, including income and expenditure, and ensure timely submission of VAT returns.
- Manage vendor invoices, track bank account balances, and verify the accuracy of business accounts.
- Develop and maintain monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
- Prepare employee wages and assist with administrative duties, including the preparation of yearly accounts.
- Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Bookkeeper is essential.
- A degree or qualification in Finance is beneficial, but not essential.
- Previous experience within the Construction industry is advantageous.
- Strong IT and communication skills are required.
