We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Culinary Professional to join our team at CrossReach. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced and appealing meals tailored to our service users' needs
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen
- Encourage service user participation in daily activities and involve them in food preparation
- Manage food stock, order supplies, and oversee meal preparation and serving
- Supervise other catering staff and ensure a smooth running of the kitchen
- Hold an Elementary Food Handling Certificate
- Have previous catering experience
- Have a working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and basic computer literacy
- Be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
