About the Role

You will have a certified core trade in support of completing repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures.

Take ownership in undertaking construction, fault finding and maintenance repairs aiming for a first time completion whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake repair and refurbishment works to a high standard, adhering to company procedures and guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify and rectify faults, ensuring timely completion of works.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Process all activities electronically, utilizing a handheld device to record worksheets, timesheets, and photographic evidence of works.
  • Maintain company assets in good condition, reporting any damages or issues to the supervisor/manager.
  • Utilize existing stock or collect materials as required to meet works order demands, adhering to standard operating procedures for purchasing and van stock control.
  • Participate in informal and formal meetings, training sessions, and call-out cover as needed to ensure contract compliance and service user satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license
  • Previous experience in plastering in social housing
  • Good communication skills
  • IT literacy
  • Must provide own hand tools
