Residential Support Professional

Our therapeutic support service in Warrington, Cheshire, seeks a highly motivated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Residential Support Professional. This position presents a unique opportunity for someone who is eager to make a positive impact in the lives of children and young people.

About the Role

As a Residential Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing a supportive environment, contributing to care plans and risk assessments, and ensuring the home is maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and review of care plans and risk assessments
  • Establish effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies
  • Maintain accurate records and engage in supervision and guidance from shift leaders and Managers
  • Deliver residential care work to meet the expectations of Ofsted
  • Support the educational and social development of each young person
  • Meet the physical and emotional needs of our young people
  • Assist the deputy/manager of the home during shifts
Requirements
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (highly desirable)
  • Experience in a children's home setting (essential)
  • Supervisory experience (essential)
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)
