Financial Accountant Specialist

Your new company is a Harlow based manufacturing business that requires a skilled financial accountant to join their finance team.
Job Description:- Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and expense claims.
- Submit monthly payroll and pension returns.
- Prepare government statistics, VAT, and PAYE reports.
- Maintain the fixed asset register, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Support year-end audit and statutory accounts by providing accurate information.
- Identify and implement process improvements through ad-hoc projects.
- Act as deputy for the Finance Controller as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- Certified accountant qualification, preferably CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
- Strong technical financial accounting skills and knowledge of relevant accounting standards.
- Advanced Excel and finance system skills, with Microsoft BC and Power BI an advantage.
- Experience in a growing, performance-oriented manufacturing industry.
- Annual bonus and benefits package.
- Hybrid working arrangement with 50% remote work.
- Flexible working hours.
Estimated salary range: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
