General Ledger Accountant Role:

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team in Gdansk, Poland. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in all-round accounting and a strong understanding of general accounting and reporting processes. They will be responsible for managing the accuracy of the General Ledger for assigned companies, completing month-end financial close procedures, and preparing internal reports.

Key Responsibilities:
• Control and manage the accuracy of the General Ledger for assigned Arrow companies.
• Complete all relevant month-end financial close procedures including necessary accruals and prepayments activities.
• Prepare and be responsible for all necessary internal reporting required within Europe and to US head office.
• Perform various accounting tasks such as facilities and restructuring accounting and control, Sarbanes Oxley controls, hedging, and revaluation.
• Manage the fixed asset register and prepare any necessary variance analysis.
• Support other accountants within the team on various tasks and develop new processes and procedures within the accounting team.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in all-round accounting.
• Very good knowledge of general accounting and reporting processes.
• Fluently English language skills.
• Experience with making an accrual, prepaid, VAT, balance sheet reconciliation.
• Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.
• Results-driven person who can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
