We are seeking a highly skilled Category Lead IT to join our team at 1st Executive Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the development of category strategies within assigned categories, with a focus on identifying cost savings and ensuring the category strategy is developed in collaboration with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies to identify cost savings and improve procurement processes
- Analyze spend and contracts to identify opportunities for cost savings
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and implement category strategies
- Provide direction, guidance, and coaching to Category Managers to secure successful delivery
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work on large infrastructure investment programmes with a great opportunity for real impact. You will be working in a highly regulated environment, and you will need to have the resilience and tenacity to push projects forward.
Requirements:
- Commercial and procurement experience, with a focus on IT procurement
- Strategic knowledge of procurement across Indirect Services, with a focus on Category Management cost saving achievements
- Ability to analyze spend and contracts to identify opportunities for cost savings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
