Senior Homelessness Prevention Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Homelessness Prevention Specialist to join our Homelessness Prevention Team in Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.

As a Senior Homelessness Prevention Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload, conducting housing options and support needs assessments, and taking actions to prevent homelessness.

You will work closely with internal and external partners, including accommodation providers and community safety teams, to provide an effective homelessness prevention service.

Our team has a progressive attitude and successful social inclusion partnership, and we are looking for someone who can continue this record of achievement.

The successful candidate will have excellent working knowledge of Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
